TikTok and the US-based National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) have inked a multi-year licensing settlement.

According to the NMPA – whose members embrace all three main music publishers, plus the world’s greatest indies – the deal “accounts for TikTok’s past use of musical works” in addition to establishing a “forward-looking partnership”.
